We believe that mathematics is a fun subject, and anyone can learn and do well at it. We try to explain things clearly and well with plenty of examples and good graphics.

First, visit mathsisfun.com and look around the website to get a feel for things.

I want to replace the present Girl/Boy image you see a the top. We get a wide range of ages visiting the site. Mostly school-age children but also adults. And many nationalities. I don't want any group feeling bad about being on the site. At present it makes older children and adults feel "silly" about being on the site.

NOTE: "Mathematics" is called "Math" in the US, but "Maths" in the UK. At present I hide this spelling difference with the word "is" (otherwise we get many complaints about bad spelling). You can do that too, or you may have a better idea.
