Our company currently supply building materials to the construction industry and we have invested in an automated AutoCAD cutting line which enables us to service bespoke requirements within the construction industry but also allows us to diversify into other target markets.
The Procut cutting service is designed for precise cutting utilising a variety of flexible materials. We have the ability to cut widths up to 1.6m and register the ends on the material being cut, so we can cut fabric of virtually infinite length.
We have CAD programs to digitise the patterns sent to us and would need artwork as a jpg, pdf or ai file. Customers can supply material or we could source. Once established the pattern and material are suitable, we would provide a quote.
UPDATED BRIEF
Hi,
Our website is www.proctorgroup.com - however the 'Procut' is not related to our traditional market. Usually we provide finished products to the construction industry; here we are providing a service, possibly outwith the construction sector.
To clarify, our ordering process:
1) People send us an image/drawing that they want cut (this could be a simple geometric shape, or a more complicated image like a cartoon character)
2) People can send us the material they want the shape cut with; alternatively we can supply standard materials styrofoam, aerogel insulation, membranes, ethafoam.
3) We cut the shape in the material required and send it out to them
We can't cut wood, metal or plastic.
Target markets - industrial applications, theatre set design, craft workers (Etsy-esque)
Examples of previous work done: anti-stab vests, book-ends shaped like animals, cartoon character cut-outs, vehicular insulation (i.e. tailor cut insulation for specific camper vans, refridgerated railway carriages etc)
One idea that might graphically convey what we do, would be a designer sitting at a drawing table/computer with designs, and then the idea 'becoming reality' through the 'Procut' service.
There is no standard price for the service, we need to be contacted on a case by case basis for a quote.
We'll upload the vector format logo shortly.
Any further questions, or clarification we can give, ask away.
We require an A5 flyer to be designed for hard copy and electronic use. There should be an element of corporate branding but open to your artistic interpretation. The name of the service is "Procut".
You'll need to provide your design in AI and EPS formats.
