Contest Brief

We are in process of transforming our wedding photography business under my wife's name. Current Slava Slavik Photography will be renamed to Sarah Slavik Photography. We would like to reuse our current website as much as we can and the idea is just to change the logo and everything else will remain the same. If necessary we can change the yellow menu bar to match the new logo.

Our current logo is kind of masculine "masculine" and "techy", and we would like to go more toward designer/fashion look and reflecting the fact that it is female owned. It would be nice to have an easily recognizable symbol in place of the nine dots on the left. Please no cameras, or lens shutters as the symbols. Perhaps you can play with a simple daisy-like flower, a cloud, sun, etc.

We would like to communicate:
- friendliness
- professionalism
- strength
- stability

Preferred colors are the same as in the current logo, but we can also try going towards orange (like the Adobe Illustrator splash screen).

Thank you everybody for your entries. As of now, we have rejected 40 of them. There are two very good entries but not quite there, yet. We go for the simplicity and elegance. One of the leading entries uses a very simplified symbol of a flower and has a very gentle but strong/stable feel. #6 and #38 perhaps a different font.... #7 let's see different colors of the text, different positioning of the symbol...
