11/29/12 New information: (There is also a new attachment): Thank you to those who have submitted designs. We're getting closer, but we don't have exactly what we're looking for just yet.
Instead of the two snake caduceus, the symbol we'd like to incorporate is the Asclepius staff (please see 2nd attachment), which is very similar, but has one snake. Ideally, we would incorporate the staff as the "T" (but it's not mandatory) as the name "TxBDC" should be very clear and not be separated, i.e. the "x" by itself or that it looks like "xBDC" or "BDC". With the current submissions so far, only one clearly identifies the name: "TxBDC," which is critical.
If the snake can be a neural spike or neural action potential, that would be preferable. (please see attachment for examples). It's not feasible to incorporate too many elements into a single design, but ideas for creativity:
EKG line
the symbol of the Texas Lonestar (also on attachment).
Incorporating the burnt (dark) orange color is a priority.
You'll need to provide your design in the following file types: AI, EPS, PSD, JPG
Burnt Orange (RGB 199-91-18) and Royal Blue (RGB 0-57-166)
Online (Website, online advertising, banner ads etc)
Print (Letterheads, business cards, t-shirts, mugs etc)
