Our company gives people a reliable place to sell their old or un-needed valuables online where they can get a fair price and be involved in the decision upon the price to be paid. We provide prices for a huge variety of items ranging from Cell Phones, Electronics, and Laptops to Antiques, Gold, and Jewelry. Our target market is anyone in the country that has a material item that they would rather have money for. These people are the ones who are not willing to go out of their way to sell their valuables, so the process of making the sale must be easy and simple. We are basically providing a service of selling an item for our customers, and they pay us in the difference between our sale price and what we offer them. We are based in St. Louis, Missouri and would like to extend our service to the whole country by allowing Americans with items to send them to us via pre-paid shipping labels. We will offer an assortment of payment options and make it easy for people to get paid to sell.

The purpose of this page will be to introduce users to the idea of the website in an easy to comprehend fashion and present them with our company logo as well as a place where they can search our database for their product and be directed to the price we will offer for their item, or a place to enter their desired price if the item does not exist in our system. We want to make clear that we buy items like Gold, Jewelry, Antiques, Laptops, Electronics, Cell Phones and any other items of value. People can also browse categories of the items we buy to see if they have things we will pay for. People will need to enter what condition their item is in by filling out a set of pre made guidelines depending upon the item they are inquiring about. They should be presented with a range of potential conditions specific to their item and be able to easily choose the problems. We can then make an offer instantly for certain items, or ask for a photo and description along with an asking price for other items. We want to be sure that the site is smooth and extremely easy to navigate so people will not feel overwhelmed in any way by the process of selling their items. We will have separate areas to present more information about the process, an about us area for the company, and the ability for people to sign up to be a member of American Buy Back so they can sell things even more easily in the future. There should also be an area to contact us easily. We basically want the page to be as attractive as possible to people looking to sell nice things, without looking overly busy or difficult. We have 'American' in the name, but don't necessarily want to overplay the American theme, but some Red, White, and Blue may be in order. Also, if a user decides to browse, they should be able to do so by category of the item being sold through some kind of easy to use menu with pictures and titles. Easy and Beautiful.

Further requirements

I would like to involve some red white and blue, but I definitely don't want it to be overwhelming or draw people's focus to the colors more than to what we do for them. I want people to feel comfortable to give us their things. I will attach a PDF of our current Logo and the smaller thumbnail version we are using, together on the same page.
