I need some help with a data model I created in Power Pivot. I have 2 data sets: one is Sales and the other is Stock. I have added both data sets to my data model and am now trying to create a pivot which pulls data from both tables. My Sales table pulls the data perfectly but the Stock table does not. Some context... When I pulled the data into the data model I added a column which I called DataModelLink. This created a 1 (Sales) to many (Stock) relationship between the two tables. As an example, I tried to pull the data of one particular style which had one line in the Sales table but 2 lines in the Stock table. For this reason, my Pivot is only reading one of two of the lines on the Stock data table. I am happy to share the data model as it is only sample data.

Hi, I have got stuck on a Powerpivot task, and need someone to let me know the correct formula. I just want to sum the rows below a subtotal. At the moment it keepts recalculating dynamically. Each row is calculating the mix which is margin - price impact - volume. The issue is that volume is calculated dynamically so a new average unit cost is calculated for all profuct groups when I use the "All" function, where as I just want to add the numbers/rows underneath, using the average unit cost at those levels. So simply I want to add the rows below without it recalculating and working out a new average when I use the ALL function, I have tried Sumx but to do success. I believe for a dax expert this is an easy issue to resolve.

I am trying to create some excel PowerPivot measures that will keep a running total of a project sales and cost, but the calculations do not stay running when I use slicers.

I have created an exel file (Timesheet3.6). Now I want to create another file (Timesheet3.7_test) but this time use power pivot instead of just excel tables. I have data from three tables that I need to combine into one PivotTable Report. Data is connected via one field in each table. Several calculated columns need to be created so they can be included in the reports. Copy of final report is attached as "Example of Report" Company Names in Column 1 are in one table Columns B through H are in Table 2, Columns I & J are calculated from Table 2 Column K is calculated from Table 3 Column L is a new column that pulls from Table 2 I have all of the calculations that are necessary for the fields. I need a measure formula for powerpivot and MS Power BI to calculate the average payment of a specific identifier (Healthcare CPT Code) from multiple rows that is linked to a date of service and account number. Any other payments or other rows associated with that account that are not specifically tied to the "identifier" CPT code should not be included in the calculation.
