Invoice Template for Time Billing
Description
This is a fully customisable self calculating invoice. You will be able to add your company name and contact details, including company logo. Then merely by adding the date and invoice number where indicated this will calculate your weekly billing period. By inserting the quantity of hours and rate which you are billing for this will calculate the rest of the invoice. If further weeks are to be billed on the one invoice you can just type the relevant dates in.
There is a description area for the type of work you have supplied and the rest of the invoice will be calculated for you.
Setup and Installation:When you first download the Excel file and open it in Excel,customise it to your company details so that it appears as you want it to, thenBEFORE YOU TYPE ANY DATA IN AT ALL, go to File, Save As and change the file format to template (.xlt). If you do this then each time you wish to produce a new invoice you can go to File, New, Template and you will see your template there ready to be typed in to. If you do not want to do this then just keep a copy of your customised file to copy each time you wish to use it.
If you need to change the VAT rate at any time just type in the new percentage (%) rate.DO NOT TYPE IN THE PERCENTAGE (%) SIGN, THE TEMPLATE WILL DO THIS FOR YOU. If you are not VAT rated then just delete the words VAT Rate and also the percentage showing in the box, it is quite acceptable to leave these boxes empty.
