Project Description:
I need someone to search the internet (or other sources) and provide me with 20 specific recipes for shrimp (or prawn) dishes.Working from a list of recipe requirements which I will provide, you will first deliver a list of web URLs (or scanned documents) which contain the recipes which you propose to rewrite. Once the original recipes are approved you will take the next step.
The recipes will be rewritten to conform to the following requirements.
1) The rewritten recipe will be noticeably different from the original.
2) The recipe will begin with a brief description of the recipe, and include some additional interesting information about the shrimp, the ingredients, and/or the history of the recipe, or the area where it originates.
3) The ingredients will show both US and metric measurements. (I will provide a calculator to help in the conversions.)
I expect this to be an on going project with additional recipes being assigned beyond the 20 on which you'll bid. The amount you bid now together with the results we experience will establish a base price on which further recipes will be paid.
To the best of my knowlege all the recipes in the initial listing should be avaialble on the internet.

NOTE: The person doing this project will be expected to have sufficient knowlege and experience to distinguish between good recipes and bad ones when considering ingredients, utensils, and preparation methods.

I am very new at this, and although that may frighten you a bit and make you question my skills, I want to assure you that I am a great writer as well as a great cook. I am a stay at home mommy of three hungry kids and their dad and cooking is a part of my daily life. So, Im not a chef, or some fancy gourmet, but I know a good recipe when I see one. To clarify some of the doubts expressed the following may help.
1) I will specify specific recipes which I believe are already published on the internet. In the case where several versions of the same recipe are available, you would select the most tantilizing and do-able one.
2) I need the recipes rewritten, no original recipes are needed for THIS project.
For this project I'm not needing expertise in cooking, just enought knowlege to distinguish between a good recipe and one which is not useful (eg confusing measurements of ingredients, procedures which are wrong, ability to distinguish between a "pit" and a "pot", etc.)
Although it may result in continued, on-going work, this is not a HUGH project. My requirements may be steady but not big.over 3 years ago

I have a lot of experieince in the food industry. I have a Masters in Food science from Cornell, I won 3 poroduct developement contests and havea lot of experience changnig recipes, particularly to make them healthier. I have a lot of knowledge about how ingredietns work as well as creating many of my own.. I would do an excellent job converting recipes for you.
