Project Description:

Full design of a website targeted at ESL students and ESL tutors. Target audience to be Korean speaking (Koreans in Canada or in South Korea) however the website is to be viewable in both English and Korean.

Design of graphics and logos to be included.

Major website content/functions to include:

List of ESL School and Rating System (by users) - A list of ESL schools in Vancouver with contact information and a rating system (rating to be done by users)

ESL Study Corner - A listing of ESL Resources in Vancouver, Canada with map (bookstores, libraries)and list (of links) of English Grammar, Spelling, Typing, Self-test sites, Dictionaries and Translation Sites

ESL Tools (Daily study helpers similar to ones found in Google Gadgets)

A find a tutor section with links to the Discussion forum (See Below) where tutors can post their services

Referral/Agency Section - An area where students, teachers, and tutors can contact us and we link them with an ESL school, a tutor, or an ESL student

Media Exchange
An area where ESL students can post videos and photos of themselves doing activities in Vancouver.
A system to be implemented to discourage the posting of pornographic or offensive materials should be included

Discussion Forum
An area where users can discuss ESL related topics
Multilingual: Forum headings divided by language
Major sections may include English Language Questions, Find a Tutor (tutors can post adds for their ESL services), Meeting People, Practice English, Vancouver, Travel, Immigration, Current News

Major database items (i.e. schools, resources, photos and videos to be searchable).
