This project is for a Search Feature that looks at an Access 2000 database and applies as ASP search to present information: All of the project requirements are included in the attachement. Please note: you need to have experience in this area in order to qualify here are the details: Project Access Database Data Search The project involves extracting records from an access database system and presenting the results in html. The access database is updated daily. The script that you make will only read data. This project has to be done in ASP. Screen Shots: 1. two search pages are required. a. one for new hardware b. the other for used hardware New hardware search Parameters: Model ( when model is selected search presents only makes from that model) Make (this is selected after a model is selected) Model Year (this is a range search field) Price Range ( this is a range search field Stock number (single field search field) Listing per page (limits the number of results per page) (in case you are wondering, these two searches are identical, the presentation will be different) Used Hardware Search Parameters: Model ( when model is selected search presents only makes from that model) Make (this is selected after a model is selected) Model Year (this is a range search field) Price Range ( this is a range search field Stock number (single field search field) Listing per page (limits the number of results per page) 2. Note: The picture expands into a new window. Data: The database has two tables linked via a common stock number. We will not be able to make any changes to the database. The database has both new and used hardware records. The database is in Access 2000 format. No macros or queries will be put in the database. Basically the database comes as is and cannot be touched .. we can read it though.. no password on database Winning Bidder will be provided with sample data and url`s for image locations. Please review this project carefully.
