We have posted a project in the past with Freelancer.com, the description of which lies below, and we awarded it to a Freelancer.com freelancer. Unfortunately, even after trying to verify his abilities and capabilities as well as his understanding of the project requirements multiple times from the start, the project was unsuccessful after a rather lengthy period of time (much longer than his initial estimate at bidding for it) because of various problems with our cooperation (delays in delivery, poor - practically zero - quality assurance to what he delivered, very poor communication and time allocation to our project etc) whereas from our end we had crisp requirements from the start which did not change at all and we also displayed business ethical behavior from the start.
Currently most of the code is functional but we are still facing a few issues which we would like them to be resolved. The effort needed is very little but we are forced to outsource it because at the time we have no resources available to handle the actual tweaking of the code. The work to be made is estimated to be less than 3 hours of work.
We own a news aggregator site through which we collect news articles from different sources. We would like to integrate this functionality with Facebook and be able provide the ability for users to automatically share with friends the articles they are reading on our site.
The functionality we are seeking to implement is very similar to Yahoo news functionality which is linked with Facebook. More information on the Yahoo functionality can be obtained from (includes also explanatory video):
On the facebook front, the user who uses this functionality should be able to see a selection of X articles (just like the Yahoo news behavior).
Our site has been built on ASP with MySQL and it also provides all the aggregated news articles through RSS. This (RSS) can be used in order for the implemented software to be able to read each time all article information.
