Implement Custom Google Search on a site

We need a REAL expert in Google Search engine here. We're trying to implement Custom Google Search functionality in my site ([login to view URL]), but we need to be able to add filters and sorting rules based on a database. Basically we have a list of professionals and I want to be able to search them using Google's engine. Tricky part is that I would like to be able to ad custom sorting with data present on database. For example, type of professional, availability etc. Results then should be displayed in my custom design.
