Dear all,
Thanks you very much for the many responses posted, I will go with the first person who can post a proof of concept mock up on there server and let me see the functionality. As previously stated the following criteria a required:
1) Visa payment functionality to the
final order process?
2)I would like the final order to be sent to the restaurantaur by either email or SMS; I assume most of the time it will be SMS, I am using clickatell as the SMS API (if you create an account you can get the relevant asp code from their site and 10 free credits for
testing the site (no obligation / no cost), http://www.clickatell.com/developers/vbnet.php )
3)I like the vertical scroll 2 way sections on the following site http://subwaychesterland.com , if you navigate through the ordering process
http://www.kudzuinteractive.com/Menus/Subway/Menu.aspx?SiteID=391&category=Subs the food is on the left, info and cart on the right. Keeping basically the same format could you use the items from the following site (picked at random) for mock up so I can get the feel for it, and stick on your
server so I can have a look:
http://www.chilliandspice.com/online_menu.htm (horrible, horrible site, just looking for cut and paste food menu and category items and this was the first one I came accross)
I.e The categories that will replace the category items in the nice circular
format on your http://www.kudzuinteractive.com/Menus/Subway/Front.aspx?SiteID=391 page will then become:
Starters
Tandoori Dishes
Curry Dishes
Madras/Vindaloo
Dupiaza Dishes
Bhoona Dishes
Rogon Dishes
Birany Dishes
Korma Dishes
Sweet & Sour
Dishes
Balti Dishes
Vegetable Dishes
Rice & Breads
And the sub items will be shown in the ‘Select the Menu Items below’ part of your Subway site.
4) MS SQL should be used for all menu items / images etc
5) Everything should be in £
Very much looking
forward to your response,
Tom
