Visual Studio 2008 RDLC file edits

I have some RDLC files that export to EXCEL (.xls) that need to be edited for consistency, coloring, layout, design, etc.. I wanted to add asp.net and RDLC to the Skills related above, but It wouldn't let me. These files are generated from data from a sql server database. The pain for me is that I cannot get you access to the main codebase, this is certainly not an ideal task for the faint of heart. If you read this far, I hope you would know that the RDLC files are client side (C is for client) for sql server and not the full blown SSRS version. Also, the RDLC as you know are XML. I can provide the RDLC files, The page source code and the final excel export as that Is my end result. As a C# developer and business owner I can see how this could be viewed. However, for this task, it pretty much requires someone who worked with RDLC and can just dig in and modify. Myself, I only used the RDLC designer in vs 2008 ( this project cannot be upgraded etc..) but perhaps you are a whiz at examining and editing xml (RDLC). 2-3 RDLC files , need to also figure out why I can't get a page footer to show up, page header works fine.
