Project Description:
I currently have a classic ASP application which connects to a SQL Server 2005 database on Windows Server 2003 machine. This works fine.
I now have a second server which is Windows Web Server 2008 with SQL Server Express 2012 installed. I have backed up the database from the first server and successfully restored it to the second server. I have also copied across the ASP pages and these work fine apart from when they connect to the SQL Server Express database. There is something wrong with the connection string or the configuration of the second server which is prevent the ASP pages connecting.
I need a SQL Server expert to resolve this connection issue.
