Project Description:
I have 2 related requirements I would like delivered by 1 supplier. When you are quoting please quote for each separately;
1. I need a website template designed. It will have 3 different page styles
• Landing Page – Lead Capture type page
• Registration/Login page
• Internal page
These template pages…
• Must be designed to industry standards and be SEO friendly
• Design & Content must separated using CSS
• Must be compatible with all recent versions of Internet Explorer, FireFox and Safari
• All Templates and original images (web friendly & original version) must be handed over
• Should be designed & developed with “Skin-ing” in mind.
2. I also need the following functionality developed (or provided by existing packages). It must be delivered as follows…
It will use a MySQL database and has the following functionality…
o Registration page - some of the information entered on this page will be passed to GetResponse to be used in an email auto-responder campaign (this is setup and working already)
o When logged in the user must be able to amend their profile. E.g. Name, Username, Profile Picture, Contact details, News Items, embed widgets like Google Calendar, links to blogs etc… (I will finalise this list with the chosen developer)
o The site will have referrer functionality e.g. If someone registers using username USER1 they will be able to market the site using www.thewebsitename.com/USER1 if a visitor uses this link to arrive on the site, when they register, the referrer USER1 will be recorded against them in the database. Various links within the site will then use this referrer username, i.e. dynamic links.
Within the site some pages will be standard across all users and some pages will display dynamic elements relating to either your referrer or people registered below you. I have indicated below which pages are Standard and which are Dynamic
o Welcome page (Dynamic)– this page will be the first page displayed after logging in and will display some Profile elements from your referrer, e.g. Profiles Picture, Welcome message, News Items and widgets.
o Forum (Standard) – Standard Forum functionality.
o Calendar (Standard) – View only. The administrator can add or remove Calendar entries.
o People Page (Dynamic) - Users should be able to view all users and have the ability to send messages to each other. Toggle view from ALL USERS to MY DOWNLINE
o Media page (Standard) – Containing Video, Audio and other such files.
o Download page (Standard) – Containing links to download various material
Please indicate what development tools you intend to use, e.g. ASP.net, Visual Studio 2008 etc… and if possible send links to similar work performed previously.
Depending on the success of this project other functionality will be introduced.
