With this project we will have numerous different employees who will be able to log into the system and carry out different actions depending on what type of employee they are. The main functionality will be where an employee can search for a briefing for a particular company and then be able to edit some files which are stored in a microsoft access database about this briefing. They will be able to save any changes made to the file to the access database.
Each time a change is made to a file which an employee is directly involved in ie. as an advisor or a rep; they will receive a notification about this. The search functionality will give the option of searching briefings by date through a calendar, by company name or by employee. A minor functionality is where the administrator can add/edit and delete employees from the system giving them login details etc. Overall I am looking for a simple easy to work system which will store information for briefings and that each employee has certain access levels to what they can view/edit.
