Initial Test of Concept Project Summary:
1) Build PayPal check out in application page so user does not have to leave site.
PayPal payment from this page needs to support
a) payment to merchant
b) payment to third party (payee specifies pay to email address)
c) payment to merchant and third party (split payment)
d) supports payment authorization to be paid later
Note: scenario a-d will be dependent upon the state of the application not the user
2) Build an admin page that
a) lists all payments with payment summary data
b) has filter functionlaity to display the different payment statuses and types
c) ability to submit payment for a pre-authorized payment
d) ability to submit full or partial refund
3) Web app
a) asp.net webforms; .net 4.0 or 4.5; use entity framework. any needed data access with complexity is okay in views or
procs accessed via entity framework. This is a test of concept application so need for user login or other framework
type facilities. Paypal functionality should be a separate class project so it can be used from different clients like
batch processing or etc.
a) sql server tables to persist all transaction activity and history. Tables to include pertitant data in columns
but it should also store all serialized requests and responses
