Project Description:
I have a need to enhance a website built on the Pocket ASP platform for WIndows Mobile / WIndows Embedded Handheld 6.5 systems.
Pocket ASP is similar to regular ASP and is written in VB Script and shares most of the same syntax and features. You can do a web search for Pocket ASP and Mode Zero to find the website that lists all the details of the Pocket ASP platform, but anyone who has classic ASP experience will be able to work well within the platform. The most notable differences are that Filesystem access is a different syntax on the mobile platform, and the lack of an "update" SQL syntax support.
I have several enhancements to the current existing codebase that needs to be completed. I'm looking for a developer who is strong in the following skillsets:
1) ASP (Classic ASP) in VB Script
2) SQL
3) COM-based ADO
Basic skills in CSS, HTML, and Javascript also required.
Experience with Windows Mobile is a plus, but not required.
I have approximately 120-160 hours of work that needs to be completed to finish out the application changes.
