So this project is essentially about writing up a research proposal for PhD in areas of financial reporting and accounting standards and will have a focus on controversial or research-able elements in this broad area such as pensions accounting, lease accounting or accounting for financial instruments, fair value accounting - you have to consider that there should be enough meat in the idea and the proposal to possibly form basis for a full 3-4 year PhD. I am open to all sorts of ideas and proposals based on same within the areas mentioned above (financial reporting and international standards), the key point being that the a)the idea should address a gap in current research b) there should be enough in it for a full doctorate.
In the proposal I would expect you to address:
1- current research in area, some key papers
2- broad area and specific area
3- what in your opinion should be proposed method of research
4- proposed aims and objectives of the study
5-brief timetable outlining stages of searches
6- outline of the topic or research question, and the proposed aims or objectives of the study.
7- the theoretical and research traditions which inform the project.
Price will be fixed and on higher end of the budget.

Please note that maximum bid amount is $250.
Ideally, I would like to see some background in accounting and finance research perhaps via your completed projects.
One of the other factors that I would consider is the idea that you give - i.e. what area under financial reporting will you be writing the proposal on e.g. ifrs adoption in the eu etc but focus on areas I have mentioned would be preferred, so if possible, please send me this information via message or in bid amount.
