Brief 1 - SuperNewMedia Ltd have been commissioned an international portal for a travel agency operating in the UK, Germany, Spain and France. The client specialises in high quality cruises in the Mediterranean.
They want – (deliverables):
A website that should include the following features:
? Information about the cruises
? A booking system
? Video clips to illustrate the holiday packages
? Images of the ships, accommodation types, destinations etc.
? A tool to virtually navigate the ships and choose type of accommodation
? Interactive maps of the cruises destinations
? A tool for user registration and to enable users to enter a personalised page with holiday
offers based on previous holidays and personal preferences
? Video testimonials from 5 local trip organisers based in: Cairo (Egypt), Marseille (France), Genoa (Italy), Istanbul (Turkey), Barcelona (Spain).
? Video clips of the entertainment provided on board (singers, music etc.)
? 3 animated banners (one per language but also different in content to localise the
advertising strategy) to be used for an advertising campaign on other sites
Languages: The international website should have 4 versions (users will select language) in: English,
Spanish, German, French.
Look and feel: The client has requested a sophisticated and elegant design to match the high quality branding of their cruises.
Other Tools: They also expect a robust, secure and highly usable e-commerce system for the booking section.
Media Asset: The client will provide the textual content and some photographs used to produce their print catalogue. The client will NOT provide any video or audio materials.
The client will pay for the travel expenses of members of the team in charge of producing images and video on location.
Target audience: potential customers 35-60 years’ old. Male and female in the UK, Germany, Spain and France.
