I am looking for a senior accountant who can advise and help me with few things.
We are a small business but we operate in a multi national style. Reason being, we are ecommerce business, we are spread across 4 countries. In each country we operating our companies selling products on Amazon/ebay/websites etc. Revenue comes in those countries and then we will shift back to our main business in Malaysia where we have Tax free status.
However we have a messed up accounting system. Very un-structured. And we do not have a legal group of companies setup or legal branch office setup in other countries. Thus every company operates independently. However due to cash flow problems, we just use money from any company to pay any supplier and use revenue to pay any staff in any location.
This is the mess up which I want to fix now because we need to ensure our taxes are done right and revenue/profit is taken to primary company properly to avoid any issues later and how do I do this? I want some advise/help in making it all happen.
