Posted this project a few weeks ago and awarded a bid. Unfortunately due to personal reasons the awarded bidder has withdrawn so I am on the lookout again! Only change is that I am just seeking one article from the list as a starting point. Hoping to find someone that is interested in writing articles on an ongoing basis.
Please note I am only interested in working with individual writers and not a team. Please submit a sample of your work for your bid to be considered.
We are currently seeking someone who is interested in writing essays/papers on legal and accounting issues for the Australian marketplace. These papers will need to have a certain level of technical expertise and credibility. We are not interested in "cheap blog/article writing" and indeed we would prefer to pay a fair value for the work involved [which is substantial!]. To succeed in this project it is envisaged that the successful applicant is either a:
Lawyer/law student/accountant or accounting student in Australia;
Lawyer/law student/accountant or accounting student in any country who has a keen interested in researching applicable laws of Australia;
Technical writer with advanced research skills.
If the articles produce are of high quality there is the potential for this to become an ongoing position. For this particular project I am seeking 1 essays on any of the below topics. Ie you can choose any from the list. The article produced should be around 1000 words in length. The article should be written in ‘plain English’ and appeal to a non-technical mind. The main aim of these essays is to be a resource for people investigating these issues.
Topics: [Note: All relate only to Australian Law]
-How do reserve accounts work in Self Managed Superannuation Funds (SMSF)?
-The Bamford High Court Case, how does this effect trusts?
-Testamentary Trusts: are they right for your Will?
-Sole Trader, Trusts & Companies: What are the pros and cons of these business structures?
-Death Benefit Nominations: Why are these important in SMSF?
-Special Purpose Companies vs Standard Companies: What are the differences?
As you can see these topics are complex and require careful research. Many sources are available online such as the Australian Tax Office but this is not simply a copy and past from Wikipedia.
If you think you are up to the challenge of writing these papers please submit a bid with some links to past work. Please feel free to submit any questions as well.
