WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

SENIOR BOOKEEPER/ACCOUNTANT, who is tech savvy, sharp with numbers who can go through our books and be fairly astute in troubleshooting, especially with the fact that there are 5 years of returns to deal with. You are very familiar with knowledgeable in creating year end financial statements and make sure they balance, especially when the raw data is large and quite a few areas that they need to look at to extract data. YOU WILL COMPLETE YEAR 1 FIRST, THEN MOVE ONTO OTHER YEARS. BIDS PREFERRED PER HOURLY BASIS.

All figures to create or to produce the financial statements should be easily verifiable by our chartered accountant.

WHAT WE NEED COMPLETED:

ISSUES WITH BALANCE SHEETS:

The figure of total assets does not balance with total liablilities & owners equity.

PROPOSED SOLUTION:

POST THE YEARLY TOTAL OF ALL BANK TRANSACTIONS
POST THE YEARLY TOTAL SALES FROM THE SALES LEDGER
RECONCILE DIFFERENCES BETWEEN SALES, LOANS & BANK DEPOSITS IN BANK STATEMENTS FOR EACH YEAR

IN OTHER WORDS:
Create yearly double entries for the following, to produce a balance sheet & income statement for every taxation year
1. The total expenses, for every taxation year.
2. The total sales, AND SALES RETURNS for every taxation year.
3. Purchases, (as per the purchase, sales journal)
4. Separate all bank deposits in the (excel) bank statements into deposits from sales, redeposits, and deposits from loans.
5. post annual sales (based on sales figures from our sales journal); if sales figures are higher than bank deposits (from sales) post the remaining cash into a share holder’s account.
6. Create double entries for loans obtained vs loans returned.
7. PRODUCE YEAR END STATEMENTS IE: (BASED ON THE WORK DONE, ABOVE)


WHAT DOCUMENTS WE ARE GOING TO PROVIDE: (AND IN WHAT FORM):

1. BANK STATEMENTS - SOFT COPY (EXCEL), showing deposit from loans, and re-deposits.
2. EXCEL WORKBOOK DETAILING ANNUAL TOTALS OF SALES, SALES RETURNS, PURCHASES AND EXPENSES (FOR THE YEARS 2003 TO 2008) – 2003 will be completed first to ensure you are doing it correctly
(THIS SPREADSHEET HAS ALL THE DETAILED TRANSACTIONS (EXPENSES) EXTRACTED FROM THE BANK STATEMENTS, SORTED ON A MONTHLY BASIS WITH YEARLY TOTALS)

3. NEARLY 24 HOUR SUPPORT TO ANSWER YOUR QUESTIONS IF ANY


WE NEED THE FINAL PRODUCTION OF YEAR END FINANCIAL STATEMENTS IN EXCEL ALONG WITH ALL THE WORK DONE SHOWING HOW THE STATEMENTS WERE PRODUCED FOR VERIFICATION.


THIS IS AN URGENT PROJECT THAT WE ARE LOOKING TO AWARD IMMEDIATELY.
WE WOULD EXPECT EITHER A VERY HIGH FEEDBACK RATING, OR SOMEONE WITH CREDENTIALS THAT WE CAN VERIFY. WE WOULD LIKE TO SEE UPDATES ON PROGRESS, AN HOURLY RATE CAN BE SET.
