Project Description:
I have a custom windows application which has a firebird database server that is accessed by remote clients via an app address and a path to where the .fdb database is located on the server.
I need to configure the windows 2008 EC2 Amazon server so that it can be accessed remotely using the server's public IP. Should be a matter of entering the required rules/filters in Windows firewall to make it work. For someone familiar with EC2 servers and solid TCP/IP this shouldn't take more than half an hour.
