Project Description:

We need a Magento expert who is efficient and has proven experience, in particular for the downloadable goods and the optional VOD aspect and custom modules. The custom design CSS is mostly ready, so you will just need to make sure the video and media players (eg flowplayer) are integrated properly in the templates.
**ALL MODIFICATION, MODULES, TEMPLATES, AND THEMES SHOULD BE INDEPENDENT FROM MAGENTO CORE AND RETAIN POSSIBILITY TO UPGRADE CORE**

The main task is to create a Magento store selling CDs, DVDs, some objects/books, MP3 and video downloads, and VOD subscriptions or per film buy and watch online.

FRONT END:
Home page to have "Featured" Slider, and "Latest" and "Most Popular" Sections from each category: MUSIC, VIDEO, BOOKS.

Music will have option to buy either as CD, or as MP3 downloads, so detail pages will need to have 30 second song previews (automatically generated from full song), option to buy each song, or buy whole CD.

Video films can be bought as DVDs, and/or as downloadable full quality versions. Detail page needs to have integrated flash video player such as Flowplayer to watch preview clips of film. OPTIONAL: also as streaming VOD.

Customers should be able to pay using PayPal. OPTIONAL: integrate a custom HSBC UK credit card payment gateway.

ADMIN BACK END:
Non-downloadable goods will use Amazon Fulfillment Service (UK, not USA!) so you will need to create a Magento module that integrates the Amazon FWS api (http://aws.amazon.com/documentation/fws/) to update inventory and send order to amazon.

Need to create custom attributes/import profile for DVDs, CDs, etc based on excel sheet we will provide.

Need to provide a simple way for administrator to upload video and MP3 files, OPTIONAL: the system should automatically transform them into the right format for download or streaming.


Job should be ready within 2 weeks, and installed on our servers and tested to work properly. OPTIONS (VOD, HSBC payment gateway, automatic video encoding can be as a second phase within one extra week)
