Writers/Geeks Needed for New Tech Site

How about a writer/geek? I've been a writer for more years than I care to remember -- I not THAT old but definitely of the Flower Child brigade -- having started as a teen. I spent 12 years on a paper and stayed with that paper another 20+ years as a freelance columnist. I was a technical columnist for various magazines including InfoWorld as a member of its review board and I have written technical articles for Popular Electronics, PC Magazine and more. My specialty is explaining technology to people so they can understand it. Don't think I don't have my geek cred as I was an early adopter of Linux (Slakware 1.4 or earlier around 1994 when you had to download it to about 40 disks and each module was a set of disks). I have built and clustered Linux machines, as well as acted as a systems admin for major companies and such. I was a Senior Unix/Linux admin, as well as a network geek. I was a technical writer for a computer firm (DEC) and I have written 10 manuals and field service guides, as well as case studies. So, I can speak geek and I can write. I'm also extremely easy, so what do you say? less

Hello there! I am very interested in this project. I am a geek though i wouldn't want to admit it infront of my friends :). I am available 4 hours a day but sometimes i can extend it if i can. I love gadgets. I have two computers at home and i also have three celphones. I also have 2 ipod shuffles. I love fidling around learning about new things and how to modify the gadgets that i have.
