The purpose of this application is to help maintain the regular scheduled safety and maintenance checklist/s of plant, equipment and vehicles.
This application development will primarily be used for private use and will not be released to the public.
Ideally this app would practically be best used on either Android or iOS, however if the requirements for this app were better suited for a web based solution or a software option the avenues for that are ok. (Web based Servers are available for controlling scheduling if required.
The development of this app should contain two controlling factors. Firstly for the primary user (checklist creator) and secondly for the person completing the checklist.
For the primary user: This app must have the functionality for the primary user to be able to create separate checklist for each plant, equipment or vehicle. The primary user should have the ability to set the frequency on which these checklist are performed and have the ability to alert the primary user by email if a checklist has not been performed by a certain time. The pre-determined time frequencies should be based on a daily timeframe. Eg. Selecting that a vehicle checklist should be performed on Monday, Wednesday and Friday
From within a checklist, each item must contain a PASS or FAIL checkbox. If the FAIL checkbox is selected the user should have the ability to write a description of why the test failed.
eg. Truck head lights are working? ? PASS ?FAIL FAIL selected
Fail description: Left headlight not working and needs to be replaced.
For the secondary User: The secondary user must have the ability to access the pending checklist/s on their scheduled day of completion and to complete the checklist/s which are then automatically emailed off to the primary user for data retention purposes.
Successful development of this application should award the developer with any ongoing support and improvements to this app, as well as possible other application developments.
Any suggestions to better develop this app are welcomed.
