To Whom it May Concern,
I am a passionate designer that has fallen in love with the art of design and storytelling since the first time I saw Lady and The Tramp share a romantic plate of spaghetti. Bringing drawings to life is something that I take pride in and would love the opportunity to work as a Caricaturist for your exciting project. As a part of your team I would work hard to create an exaggerated likeness of you and your loved for your caricature illustration.
My passion for design, animation, and story telling has development through my recent experience working as a freelance designer, and Big Bad Boo studios as both a Jr. Designer and Animator. During my time at the studio, my skills as an animation designer were strengthened. While working in house in Vancouver, I also had the opportunity to work as a freelance concept artist for Studio Voltz and Global Angle where I helped with the visual development of characters for upcoming projects.
As a designer I am constantly challenging myself to push my poses and line of action to create strong visual artwork. By referencing life, my own experiences, and the art of other professionals, I continue to grow as a designer. I love challenges and working within different styles and mediums. Furthermore, working as a freelance artist has allowed me to work closely alongside clients to achieve the desired look for a particular job. As a designer, I will use my experience from my training and as an independent artist not only to bring art to life but also to entertain and inspire viewers.
I thank you in advance for considering my application as an caricature Illustrator. Please find the link to my online portfolio and the link to my blog at www.ngarberportfolio.blogspot.com. If you have any questions or would like further information, please do not hesitate to contact me.
Sincerely,
