Avoid flagging of Ads
Flagging is a kind of censorship of postings, that is made by the Craigslist users by Flagging them. The Craigslist community alarms the Craigslist with spasms, which may be inappropriate or illegal posts that may lead to deletion of any Ad randomly. Ads get flagged when it
is found that the post is offensive or inappropriately categorized. Competitors may engage in flagging to keep competitors guessing.
Here are some tips:
- Choose the most appropriate category, you think is right, to post your Ad.
- The title should be relevant to the related category
and the theme of the Ad.
- Natural looking Ads are better if you are posting into other categories than to go for the Services offered (Usually commercial Ads are posted in Service category);
- Each Ad should be different with regards to its title, theme, and presentation.
Flagging of
Ads has nothing to do with the Account, as it is connected with the posts, and it remains valid for new postings. You can repost the next Ad taking care to avoid the mistakes that may have caused the flagging.
