The content writer is responsible for generating content that drives interaction within the target market. On the mid-term, he oversees all external marketing content initiatives for the segment, across printed, online and digital formats including blog posts, social media content, whitepapers, case studies, web content, emails, video scripts and fact sheets. He directly works with the online marketing manager and the brand manager to maintain consistency but also with the sales team.

Planning: Pinpoint relevant content themes and create compelling content that will resonate with leads and customers. Develop a rolling 3 months editorial calendar that maps out content development plans. Research relevant content.
Generating content: Write, edit and create content. Re-purpose content as needed. Ensure all content is on-brand, consistent in terms of style, quality and tone of voice, and optimized for search and user experience for all channels of content including online, social media, email, video, print (whitepapers, case studies, fact sheets) and in-person.
Content review: work with owners of particular content to review, check and measure particular content and marketing goals. Conduct ongoing usability tests to gauge content effectiveness.
PR content: manage / review content for PR agencies
Social Media: Support online manager with content across social media channels
Experience & Qualification:
Excellent English language skills (native)
Demonstrable experience in writing about finance across different media.
Understanding of the role of content in delivering value through search engine optimization including an ability to write and edit SEO-optimized content.
High-level understanding of B2B marketing principles - especially interaction with leads and clients.
Very good communication skills.
Self-starter, details oriented and with a high commitment to his job.
