Project Description:
*Do you like Mystery Books? I don’t just mean you've heard about mystery books and have a passing "I've watched a couple Sherlock films about them." I mean, you're nutty about mystery and you consume mystery books for the pure pleasure of in your spare time.

*Do names like Agatha Christi, Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, Edgar Allan Poe, Scott Turow, Raymond Chandler, Wilkie Collins, steven king, Lee Child.

*Do you spend some of your spare time reading mystery blogs and posting on mystery, crime, and thriller book forums?

*Do you hit up the local bookstore once every couple weeks to check out the new thriller, mystery/crime releases?

If so, then THIS is the job for you!

==THE JOB==

If you're passionate about mystery/detective/crime books then you'll love this job! Your job will be to help write a number of detailed mystery book recommendation lists.The lists will touch many different "genres" as the mystery genre can include science fiction, fantasy, historical, true crime and a variety of genres.

We are talking book lists with the titles like “Best Mystery Books”, “Best Modern Mystery Books”, ‘Best Traditional Mystery Books", "Best Legal Thrillers", "Best Medical Thrillers", "Best Haird Boiled Detective", "Best Science Fiction Mystery Books" etc

The project will entail 10 - 15 or so lists for now, each containing the top 25 or so ranked recommendations. Likely anywhere from 500 to 1000 US in work with an eye for more work in the future.

You’ll need to write between 200-300 words per recommendation in a witty, sarcastic, and entertaining style. You’ll need to convince the read WHY the book is ranked on the list and why it’s considered one of the best books in the genre. Of course, you’ll also NEED to really know what you’re are talking about. You'll have to do research about the topic to to come up with the best lists. I will help out by forwarding my own soft recommendations to help out.

Some examples of what sort of lists /writing I’m expecting you to do as far as the style of writing I'm looking for:

Note that the mystery genre does includes sub categories like:

"traditional mystery", "legal thriller", "medical thriller", "cozy mystery", "police procedural", and "hardboiled"

So your lists, depending on the context, will center around each of these categories or even draw from them all.

==HOW TO APPLY==

#1. YOU MUST be a native born English speaker. That means if you are not born in Canada, America, the UK, Australia, New Zelands or somewhere where proper English is the first language, don't' apply. That means if you are from the Indian or African subcontinent, I won't even read your message. So don't wast my time and your time applying. I need people who are proper writers.

#2. Send me a message with a 100 word paragraph stating what you know about mystery books, what books you've read, and otherwise convince me that you actually know your sh*T when it comes to the mystery genre. YOU WILL NOT BE HIRED IF YOU ARE NOT WELL-READ IN THE MYSTERY GENRE. I'm looking for people who have a good deal about the genre before starting this project. Also explain to me your past writing qualifications -- have you worked as a writer, do you have a blog, do you attend mystery/thriller conventions, etc. If I don't get this message in my inbox from you, you won't be considered for the job.

#3. Please don't send me a long and involved message about how you are a platinum level Ezine Articles author or some such. If you are writing EzineArticles, you won't be considered for this job. I need real writers who know how to write, not sloppy SEO writers who regurgitate other work into their own (often manged) words with keywords to trick the search engines.
