Project Description:
Thank you for bidding on this project. I need 10 high quality, original, casual articles on the topics of personal finance. I expect the project will be completed within 10 days. I expect to be able to communicate with you daily to get updates about progress of the project. There is also the possibility of related, future work.

Technical explanation of this project is divided into 2 parts. Below, in part 1 the article requirements are summarized into 8 bullet points. In part 2 I provide a detailed explanation of each point.

In part 3 I explain what we will do if you have no ratings in Freelancer.com or cannot show that you have experience. I will pay you for one trial article but we will only continue to work together if you satisfy the high standards.

If the articles do not satisfy the requirements, you will not be paid until everything is corrected. You should expect many rounds of revision if the articles continually do not satisfy the requirements.

Please send a message via Freelancer.com if you have any questions prior to the start of the project. I much prefer to clarify any points than wait until there is a problem later.

1. Basic Article Requirements:

+++ Topic is personal finance-related, based on one keyword I supply.
+++ 400-500 words of 5-8 paragraphs.
+++ Keyword should be in the title, and appear at least once in each paragraph.
+++ 2-3% keyword density in each paragraph.
+++ Correct spelling, punctuation, and grammar.
+++ 95% unique (pass copyscape).
+++ Adherence to American English.
+++ Style is casual, on-topic, concise, and informative.

2. Detailed Article Requirements:

+++ Topic is personal finance-related, based on one keyword I supply.

I will supply one keyword for each article. The keyword will be related to personal finance. You are also encouraged to put other related keywords into the article, but must focus on the main keyword.

+++ 400-500 words of 5-8 paragraphs.

Articles should be from 400 to 500 words. Split the article into 5-8 paragraphs of similar size for easy reading. Paragraphs should be separated by a single blank line. Paragraphs must connect to each other in a natural English way. Each paragraph should contain 2 or more sentences.

+++ Keyword should be in the title, and appear at least once in each paragraph.

The keyword must be appear naturally in the title, introduction, body, and conclusion. The keyword should appear at least once in every paragraph.

+++ 2-3% keyword density in each paragraph.

The keyword can appear at most 15 times in a 500 word article. If it exceeds that limit, it is too many. Similarly, the keyword should appear at least 10 times, otherwise it is too few. The keyword should be spread evenly throughout the 5-8 paragraphs. The keyword must be used in a natural, informative way.

+++ Correct spelling, punctuation, and grammar

The best article is 100% correct with no errors in spelling, punctuation or grammar. Articles with 1 or 2 errors will be tolerated. There must not be excessive use of capitalization for no reason, exclamation marks, and unprofessional punctuation.

+++ 95% unique (pass copyscape).

Articles must be original/unique. All articles will be passed through Copyscape to ensure that they are unique. Uniqueness is defined as a Copyscape uniqueness score of 95% or higher (100% unique is the best). Some non-uniqueness will be tolerated for writing elements such as quotes or common phrases. Paragraphs must not be repeated or shared from one article to the next.

+++ Adherence to American English

There are many styles of English used commonly throughout the world. Since the primary audience of these articles is American English, you must stick to American English. For example do not use British spelling, Indian, Australian or Singaporean English slang in your articles. Also, phrases that are uncommon in American English should be excluded from the articles. Articles produced by "spinning" software is strictly prohibited and will be easily detected given how poor they are.

+++ Style is Casual, On-topic, Concise, and Informative.

The article should be written in a casual tone aimed at ordinary readers who are not experts. Articles must have content that demonstrates basic understanding. The article is expected to teach the reader basic understanding in a pedagogical manner.

For example, if the topic is about "outdoor tool sheds", I expect to see the article contain some of the following information:
1) What is a savings account?
2) Where can one find a savings account?
3) Does it cost anything to open a savings account?
4) What is the interest rate of a savings account?
5) How does it compare to other kinds of accounts like checking accounts and money market accounts?
6) What are some important considerations when choosing a savings account?
7) Some banks where one can find savings accounts.
8) Problems with savings accounts.

These are just 8 examples of the kind of information expected in a casual, informative article. There is no need to use exactly the 8 examples above. You are free to supply other, similar information. The strictest requirement is that the writing is informative while remaining as concise as possible. Extra, meaningless words to increase the size of the article are not acceptable.

3. For writers with no history on Freelancer.com or have no experience

If you have few or no ratings on Freelancer.com or cannot show that you have experience, then I will supply you with one article on a test basis. After you finish and send me the article, I will review it within two days to make sure it satisfies the requirements.

If your article is satisfactory I will pay you for that article. If your article does not satisfy the requirements, I expect that you will work on revisions until it is satisfactory. After the first article I will decide if you are competitive to continue working together on the next 9 articles.
