Requirements:
-Perfect command on written English, for project communication, and perfect understanding of English (reading) for retrieving the data.
-Being a Nirvana / Kurt Cobain enthusiast.
Project description:
- I will need a database of Nirvana live performances (video file or audio file), pictures from relevant shows and relevant information.
- I will provide the 'directories' - websites that contain all the required information.
- I will provide the exact methodology.
1) Nirvana had hundreds of live performances in period 1987-1994.
2) You should search for the BEST VERSION of each live performance in Youtube and Soundofdentage (Nirvana archive/directory).
Best version refers to audio/video quality of the available streams/files and is relevant to Youtube playback quality (in case of Youtube) and recording source sound quality and/or kbps of audio files (in case of Soundofdentage)
3) After finding the 'best version of performance', you should DOWNLOAD the relevant streams/files (Youtube/Soundofdentage) and Split the show to SEPARATE SONGS. That means that a 15-song playlist show, should end up as 15 independent song files. Spliting has to be somewhat accurate in timings.
Note: You will need a Video/Audio editor in this case. I don't want QUALITY LOSS DURING CONVERSIONS etc.
4) Delivering me the show(s) files.
Notes:
1) Finding which is the best available performance is not always easy because:
a) You have to actually have an ear and some very basic knowledge of sound quality issues.
b) Youtube may have Multiple 'uploads' of the same show/song. Important: Soundofdentage has always more than 1 results for each show (different recording, with some dead links (unfortunately)
sources).
2) If there is a VIDEO of the show, we always prefer that (Youtube). If not, we seek to find best AUDIO stream of the same show (Youtube). If the show isn't uploaded to Youtube at all, we should move to Soundofdentage and search for the best possible audio file(s) of the show.
Our directories will be:
1) Nirvana live guide: This is our guide for Chronological order of Nirvana shows. [[url removed, login to view]]
2) Youtube: Video/Audio uploads of shows (Whole set or split songs) [[url removed, login to view]]
3) Soundofdentage: Nirvana archive/directory [[url removed, login to view]]
What I ask for: Strictly followning the guidelines. Minimum possible audio quality loss.
What I will 'allow': No strict timeframes. No strict Employer attitude.
What I want: I believe you have to be a Nirvana/Cobain enthusiast, since the payrate will be low, unfortunately.
Note: It would be great to consider this as an 'educational' or 'recreational' activity, while providing me accurate results. Feel free to share new ideas, regarding methodology, content issues etc.

Sample: I want you to provide me, following the above instructions, songs: [Spank Thru] and [About A Girl] from the shows [03/08/91 - Commodore Ballroom, Vancouver, BC, Canada] and [03/09/91 - The Forge, Victoria, BC, Canada]. That should be 4 FILES. Please one file (at least) retrieved from Soundofdentage.
After completing the sample, you could give me a precise and grounded payrate demand. (Payrate will be low). I will refund awarded bid 5 USD for the sample. No rush please.
