Hi there,I recently took over managing my website from my web designer. I paid him to design and host the site a few years ago. I migrated the files over to Bluehost successfully. I have a contact page(contact.php), where users can send me an email through a form. I am trying to insert a form validation, so that if a user does not fill out the required fields (name, email, and comment), they will receive an error message on the same page (not redirected to another page). I would also like to insert a CAPTCHA, to reduce the amount of spam I receive. Finally, I designed a "thank you" page (emailresponse.php) that I want users to be taken to once they successfully send me an email. I have a very minor formatting issue that I need help with (the bit of white sticking out under the "home" button), otherwise the page is done. The pages that I refer to are all saved as php files. I'm really trying to learn how to do this stuff myself, so if you could explain what you're doing that would be great!

Hi there, one other thing I forgot to mention is that I also need to have the "send" button on my contact.php page fixed. Right now when you hover over the button, it changes to a blue color (which I like). The problem is that the color blue does not match up with the send button when you hover over it. I assume that this is simply a matter of changing the width of the button when it is moused over. I will be making my selection by the end of today, thank you!
