Project Description:
This project involves an end-to-end private label website development, which will implement Expedia/IAN's xml web services and the complete user interaction from accommodation search to booking confirmation will reside on our website.The look, feel and functionality should be similar to websites like:
www.hotels.com
www.hotelclub.net
The project has two parts:
Web design:
A complete design including logo, widgets, style sheets etc. needed for the different pages(about 20)
Functionality and integration
The second part of the project is to implement the XML integration and to build our own database of inventory, booking solution etc. Accommodation providers should be able to register, properties, rates, descriptions, availability etc on our website, so that we can build our own inventory. Bookings from our own inventory should be possible to integrate directly with the providers own booking systems.
The code needs to be well structured and documented to easily extend and manage. Procedural programming will not be accepted. It must be rock-solid with no errors. SEO is crucial.
The work submitted should not infringe any other copyrights held by any other third party and any liabilities arising out of copyright infringement would be supplier's (freelancer) responsibility. The work once submitted will become our property and we will hold copyright for it and reserve the right to re-use/ re-publish in our future projects.
Payment would be in form of freelancer's milestone based payments. Freelancer should mention the duration of support they are able to offer once the project is completed.
We are happy to take bids for the separate parts of the project or whole project if that suits.
Interested professionals must be able to document previous experience from building a private label travel website with IAN/Expedia. Please send references and portfolios. We hope this may be the start of a long term relationship over the course of our business.

I’ve done Ian integrations, which are relatively straight forward, but once you start trying to integrate your own travel inventory and provide real-time booking solutions with front desk property management systems – you are talking about a business model and not a freelance once off solution. I’ve done that too. For this budget you will get relative xml integration with IAN, but even that integration in a constantly moving entity, with IANs inventory management and with your SEO requirements. Good luck..
