Clarification on Milestones.
When you are hired by a public company such as a store or factory, they do not set up milestones. They expect the employee to work first then get paid. As a sub-contractor, it is customary to ask for a partial payment up front as a way of paying for supplies that you have to purchase unless the one hiring the sub-contractor buys all the materials for the job. Then the sub-contractor is paid when the job is finished correctly. This is how we work and it is how we expect all sub-contractors that we hire to work as well. Thank you.
