PSYCHICS: The Path not Taken By so many they have been called, in fear, in awe, in hate and seldom in respect, the witches, the soothsayers, healers, sorcerers, warlocks, wizards, witchdoctors and so much more. They have been with us since the beginning of time; this is written in our history. Most have lived solitary lives, it may be as what they have preferred as they might live or maybe because they are mostly misunderstood by the people around them. Nobody really wants to be alone in life, yet maybe psychics really have no choice. They have been mocked, feared and persecuted since ancient times, and not much has really changed since then. Even in this age of enlightenment so they say, psychics are still outcast in our society. Fortune telling, the gift of prophecy, telekinesis, telepathy, the gift of healing and clairvoyance, these are but some of the abilities the psychics possessed. Abilities that have been feared by most people and to some extent considered as evil. This might be because not much is known of how these abilities came to be, where it came from and how it works. This unknowing about such abilities leads to insecurity, insecurity leads to fear, and fear leads to hatred and that might be the reason why psychics have been persecuted since time immemorial. We are now in the age of enlightenment, yet much of us are still blinded by lies told to us for centuries past. Lies that has taken much of our gifts or abilities away from us, we so much believe in those lies that we merely discourage ourselves from recognizing our own abilities given to us by the divine. But somehow the truth will always find a way to open our eyes once more, through individuals who are willing and have courage enough to open our eyes to forgotten wisdom. They, who dared to write, speak and teach the knowledge of our hidden abilities and gifts. So few do choose to walk the path of the psychics, most who walk the path have been born to it, learning early in life that they have the gift, the ability to be great only if they would harness and cherish there abilities. They, who have the courage to love, cherish and harnessed what Mother Nature has given them. They who are brave enough to show us that we can be great, that we have the abilities to do wonders. The path of the psychic might be hard, but if you choose to travel it, know that is no longer a lonely road.
