Design and build a bicycle garage. In the city (Boston) all of us landlords have tenants with bicycles. Keeping these bicycles in their apartments is inconvenient: must carry upstairs, no place to store in the apartment, etc. Storing them in the hallways in unsightly, a fire hazard, and most landlords don't allow it. Keeping them outside in the open leaves them exposed to weather and prone to being stolen. An enclosed "garage" that can hold 3 - 5 bicycles will be very useful. One door to access all of the bikes is fine but Inside there should be a way to lock each individual bike. It should be built so that no one can see inside or see the bicycles that are stored. A light on a motion detector will be useful to make it easy to use at night and also to ward off would be criminals.
