I'm looking for a designer that can create a fully executable drawing and a 3D rendering of a single story home in need of a new front facade and landscape design. I can provide as many photos as needed as well as current dimensions.
The quick basics:
- The home is a single story, ranch in the U.S. Midwest (built in 1954) with a very high peak at one we'd like to de-emphasize with a window (and maybe a bay window below). Also, it lacks a front entryway now. We'd like to add a peaked overhang entryway.
- Also, the roofline drops to 8' for 2/3 of the front of the house, making it feel sort of squished. Anything we can do to make it feel taller would be good.
- On the landscape, the house sits on a wooded 3/4 acre lot. We'd like to add a fence around the backyard while maintaining some of the softness that comes from the current vegetation that we'd have to remove in order to install the fence and we'd like to strategically plant or remove trees to block a few neighbors.
I have a very good handle on what I'd like but am having a hard time visualizing it and I'd like to use the drawings to communicate with the contractors. That said, I'm completely open to new ideas. If you have experience designing remodels and landscape designs, I'd love to hear from you. Architects are preferred but, a strong portfolio is needed either way.
Thanks again for reading the listing. I look forward to your bid.
