Project Description:
We wish to insert the IM screenname (Yahoo, AOL and MSN) of a person in a field/DB after which it tracks if the person is online or not. If online, it will activate an IM window for (when the user has himself activated that messenger as well). When offline, it will also activate an IM window for sending offline message to that individual.
It's pretty much as used in forums and/or can be scripted on webpages for YIM, AIM and MSN by the owner of the screenname/profile itself. In this case the owner of the screenname does not need to give consent but we apply the screenname with the same result as if he/she would have done it.
An admin part would be able to group screennames and also show a selection of all online screenames within certain groups.
