Project Description:
Hi there everyone. I have an iPad application that is almost finished from a development perspective but I'm having a major layout issue that I cannot resolve and need some expert help on. Please note that the person who can complete this job over the weekend and can commit to it will get the job!
I'm having a layout issue that I simply cannot resolve. I have tried absolutely everything but nothing I do is working. Here is a breakdown of the issue:
When the iPad is in landscape mode at startup i get the following issue: http://uploads.socialcode.biz/0K3p1h340y0V1r3m0d0b what you can see here is that it looks as if the root container is loading portrait mode and this is impacting on the layout. For example, the black bar to the right is completely un clickable. You can't click on any of the links in "columnists", sport, business, features or the man navbar item for "Columnists" and "Cartoons".
In addition, if you click the drop down navbar you will see the following problem: http://uploads.socialcode.biz/0d1h0g1y461o0I1b0J18. The same clipping is occurring in the
The interesting thing about this layout issue is that if you rotate the device to portrait mode and then back to Landscape mode the layout resolves itself without any problems. Here are the screenshots of the layout fixed when doing a manual rotation on the device:
Correct landscape layout - http://uploads.socialcode.biz/0w3y0p0K153t0m0M041Z
Correct navbar layout - http://uploads.socialcode.biz/0p0Z1a0z3D2m1H121f10
So I have no idea why on startup it doesn't load correctly but when you rotate everything lays out correctly.
I'm desperate to have this resolved, can you give me a cost to fix this for me please?
