Project Description:
We need someone having good network programming skills to develop a code that will extract network traffic statistics and feature of various layer of OSI Model. We are interested in the header information of following layers
Transport layer
Network layer
Data link layer
Physical layer
In Addition to this we are also interested in traffic flow, packet flow and similar statistics. Further details provided later.
All the network traffic is capture through wireshark and tcpdump. Example of such file is http://www.ll.mit.edu/mission/communications/cyber/CSTcorpora/ideval/data/1999/training/week1/monday/outside.tcpdump.gz
We required a working code with proper documentation and comments. There is no restriction of programming language and OS type.
