I'm currently the lead artist for a game project known as Grecca or Grecca Online. We had an up and running game at one point, which you can find many videos and screenshots for online at our website at http://www.greccaonline.com
The inherent problem is we lost our programmer and thus all of our software over the summer over a reason I cannot go into detail about. Two of the three team members split off and went their own direction.
Though the original project was meant to be an open PVP mmo, we have decided to re-class and make a smaller "chat client" with a gui (similar to IMVU) and game-like functions. We are thinking of this sort of like a graphical interface to a Mud Client. The project is 2D and has some 3D"ish" lighting. I am the game's artist, and though I can program in C, I do not have the experience necessary to make this a reality on my own. I can help to a small extent if you are willing to work with me, but I don't know any other language.
The features we are looking to have are:
A world map like chat server with many different chat areas that you access by "travelling"
Customizable avatars that you create when you make your account
Chat areas will look like a UI interface for a Mud
Emoticons will translate to actual animations on the characters
A cash shop to buy special hair and skins for the client
Things we want to add in the future:
Minigames for making clothing and equipment to decorate your character (kind of like puzzle pirates with rewards in items)
AI for animals to walk around and chase, etc
Items you can pick up and interact with in the chat room
and much much later a combat system
Being as this project has once already been running, MOST of the art and ALL of the design is actually complete. We are on a very tight budget, so we can only pay by the milestone currently, and we're looking at $150-$200 per milestone depending on how much gets completed.
If you have any additional questions, our contact information is on our website, or ask them in your bid and I'll try and get back to you asap.

I would also strongly prefer the "game" software to be done with UDK engine in Unity3d instead of building our own engine. This game is not going to be in a mobile phone, we want it to work on PC and we wish to use a C programming language to code it in, please only contact if you have samples of work with Unity3d or C programming.
If you would like the EXACT feature list of what we want the software to do, PM me before you bid, please.
