Project Description:
Develop a demo mobile POS application to be used in a 7 inch Android tablet.
The app shouldn't have full functionality to process payments but should be able to show at least the following screens / options:
- Welcome / Login Screen (no need to validate login with any server, just a demo user is ok)
- Screen to enter amount to be charged and description, if posible the description should be auto-populated with the current location as detected by the tablet but the field should be editable.
- The App would work with a magnetic credit card reader (similar to Square), at this point we don't neet to actually read the credit card info nor to send it for processing but it would be nice if it can read from the card and display the name and last 4 digits of the credit card when a card is swiped, if it is too complex to add this functionality just showing any name and 4 digits as the 4 last digits of the CC is ok for demo purposes. Fields for expiration and security codes are required. If needed we can provide the magnetic card reader.
- Option to sign on the screen
- Screen showing the approval of the transaction and the option to send receipt via email. The app should be able to send the receipt with signature via email.
The app is required in Spanish, however, we can help with the translation if you can only do it in English.
Upon completion of focus groups and some other market studies we may require to develop a fully functional application.
