Project Description:
We require an simple application that will output various system stats to a 20x2 LCM. The LCM has 4 programmable buttons that we would like to function. We have code from a previous generation LCM from a different manufacturer that worked at one time. It is attached. The new LCM uses a different pin out. The old LCM was serial, the new one is parallel (I may have that reversed).
The application should be able to be compiled with gcc into a binary.
The LCM should display the following statistics: hostname, CPU load, HDD free space, free memory/used memory, internal IP address (eth0), external IP address (eth1), and system UID,
