Project Description:
Our goal is to make a energy monitoring circuit using the ADE7753. This circuit should interface with the Arduino Uno and display the real time energy consumption of any appliance/light

The project will consist of two major parts:

1. HARDWARE
A circuit needs to be designed that utilizes the ADE7753 and a shunt resistor. This circuit should then use the SPI interface to send data to the Arduino.

2. ARDUINO CODE
The arduino source code should be able to interpret the data and display it on the serial monitor in real time.
Example: If a light bulb is connected to the circuit, the serial monitor should continuously display in WATTS, the energy consumption of the light bulb.

The embedded software will also calibrate the the ADE7753 so that the displayed data is accurate.
