I require a desktop application for windows XP to Win8
The application primary function is to maintain a mailing list imported in from excel, txt or csv.
I run a business and i send out clients mail (Letters) that i generate e from excel and merge to word. I then print and post. In these letter are coupons that the client brings into my store and my staff manually tick off against a printout of the mailing list. I would like to make this more efficient by printing a barcode on the letter with the clients reference number. Thi sway my staff can scan the coupon barcode and the database is updated as "coupon redeemed"
This is the end result i would like to achieve.
As I see it I will need a central database that will work over a LAN
I will need certain functions such as
Import to application
Export a excel file from application encrypt (built in password) and email to a preset email address
Manage records, edit, delete, view etc
Also require report function, such as last export sent including record count
I would also like to put a custom logo (mine) with version number as well as ownership info including contact ph and email address
When completed the SRC's and application will be my property
PLEASE NOTE THIS IS MY FIRST TIME TO GET AN APP LIKE THIS DESIGNED SO BEAR IN MIND I MAY HAVE MISSED SOME IMPORTANT FUNCTIONS, HOPEFULLY THE RIGHT PERSON WILL KNOW EXACTLY WHAT I NEED.
