Hello, I'm an experienced industrial designer with engineering background and affinity for product styling and development. In my career I have worked on numerous projects with engineering and design studios involved in product research and development. It varied from designing small home products and gadgets, furniture design, to designing very specific projects like interior of trams, and cabins for industrial vehicles... Today I collaborate with many factories and various manufacturers not only in EU but also in China and south Asia. So I can offer you complete design service; from concept stage, sketching and object styling, to building fully functional prototypes and organizing serial production. I think future 'trends' in design can be found as a fusion of various technical and artistic disciplines. I tend to cover all that area. So, in brief, I approach each client 'individually' and personalize the specific case for the project requirements. My goal is to realize long term business relationship to our mutual satisfaction. Of course, I am not charging initial consultation. Speaking about my prices and timetable for design phase, I have roughly estimated it, but in fact, I prefer not to have fixed hourly rate. I would prefer us to make more flexible agreement. I prefer quality over speed. I'd rather be honest from the start than annoy everyone with delays or worse still, rushing the process and producing a product that I'm not proud of. So when designing such object there may be some delays in getting the product to the high standard that is required, but the product will be delivered. Moving from concepts and sketches to prototype is rarely easy and predictable, but otherwise it wouldn't be new, innovative or any fun. Please feel free to ask me any additional info. Thank you!
