We require a skilled OS X developer to write a simple File Browser application (quickly). This shouldn't take more than a few hours to complete.
The application will consist of a single window with a toolbar across the top and two columns.
The first column will be similar to the sidebar in the Finder and contain several shortcuts to files or folders. The user will be able to click a "+" button on the toolbar above this column which will bring up a standard browse dialog box and allow the addition of new shortcuts to this sidebar. The user should also be able to drag and drop a file or folder from the Finder to the sidebar. Each shortcut will consist of an icon on the left and text on the right.
The second column will consist of two panes; a top pane which is an information window and a bottom pane which is a standard "list view" with disclosure triangles as per the finder. When an item is selected from the first column the top pane in the second column will display information related to that item and the files within this selected item will be displayed bottom pane. The list view will show three columns; name, size and modified date.
You must have the following skills:
1. OS X development skills (Xcode, Objective-C, Storyboard/Interface Builder, etc.)
2. Good user interface design skills.
3. Ability to check in code into a Git repository.
4. Good English language skills.
5. Ability to get the job done quickly.
Please bid showing examples of your previous work including any user interface or design examples you have done before. If I like your previous work, I will reply and give you more details.
Please start your reply with "I know how to use Git" so that I know that you have read the full description.
